Today, Tom welcomes President of the Waterbury Board of Alderman Pete Pernerewski to discuss, among other topics, how the recently-passed state budget will affect the city of Waterbury.

Tom then welcomes Peter Gioia, Vice Presdident of the Connecticut Business and Industry Association (CBIA.com).  Tom and Peter discuss the recently approved bdget, as well as the Connecticut Center for Economic Analysis at the University of Connecticut report entitled “Will Connecticut Recover?”

In the second hour, Tom, Steve Gambini and Steve Noxon talk about the state of the economy in Connecticut, including a discussion of recent Journal Inquirer editorials by Dan Haar, before being joined by Jerry Labriola Jr., the Chairman of the Connecticut Republican Party.
