In the first hour, Tom discusses some news of the day, before welcoming Dr. D from Stamford to discuss the Affordable Care Act and it’s effects on healthcare

In the second hour, Tom speaks with Chad Wable, President and CEO of St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury to discuss the cuts to Connecticut hospitals in the recently passed 2013-2014 budget bill.

Tom then speaks with Wayne D’Amico, CCIM, of Property Politics, regarding CT property values and economic development

In the third hour, Tom speaks with Sam Haydock, the Director, NE Environmental Operations at BL Companies about House Bill 6651 and it’s effects on business and the environment.

Tom follows that up with a brief conversation with CT State Representative Salim Noujaim on the same subject.

Finally, Tom Speaks with author Daniel James Brown about his new book, “The Boys in the Boat”  “The Boys in the Boat celebrates the 1936 U.S. men’s Olympic eight-oar rowing team—nine working class boys who stormed the rowing world, transformed the sport, and galvanized the attention of millions of Americans.”
